THE PIRATE SHIP

THE PIRATE'S SONG

When I was one, I ate a bun the day I went to sea,

I climbed aboard a pirate ship and the captain said to me,

"We're going this way, that way, forward backwards

Over the deep blue sea

A bottle of Rum to warm my tum,

And that's the life for me.”

When I was two, I tied my shoe the day I went to sea

When I was three, I banged my knee the day I went to sea

When I was four, I shut the door the day I went to sea

When I was five, I learnt to dive the day I went to sea

When I was six, I learnt some tricks the day I went to sea

When I was seven, I went to Devon the day I went to sea

When I was eight, I closed the gate the day I went to sea

When I was nine, I was feeling fine the day I went to sea

When I was ten, I started again the day I went to sea
